A bit about me

Hi, I am Silene, an Acupuncturist and Fertility Massage Therapist.

Over the past few years, I have dedicated myself to working, researching, and building my practice to help women and men achieve their dream of having a baby.

With 17 years of experience as an acupuncturist, I have continually refined my skills and expertise. I earned the highly rigorous Fertility Diploma in Acupuncture—the most prestigious qualification in fertility acupuncture in the UK. I dedicate hours each month to research and am an active member of two leading fertility acupuncture networks, where we discuss case studies and share knowledge.

I love what I do. My one-on-one sessions with clients energize and empower me, creating a wonderful cycle of positivity that I pass on to my clients.

My sessions go beyond acupuncture. They are about connection, deep understanding, and meeting clients where they are to help them move forward. Together, we talk about the things that hurt—losses, fears, anxieties, and anger. Then, we return to the facts, reviewing what has happened so far to build a clear understanding of the journey. From there, we create a plan to move forward.

In recent years, I have had the privilege of hearing countless pregnancy and birth announcements from my clients. Each one fills me with gratitude and honor to be a part of their journey.

Few facts about me

was born in Lyon, France, where all my family still resides. My first visit to London 24 years ago was transformative; I stepped out at Piccadilly, wandered through Covent Garden, and instantly knew, “This is where I’m going to live.”

At 26, I experienced a life-changing moment when I woke up with Bell’s palsy after a severe headache. Visiting an acupuncturist for treatment, I was inspired by his work and thought, “This is what I want to do.”

I’ve always dreamed of being a mother. While my friends discussed their career aspirations, my secret ambition was to have children. When I finally became pregnant at 34, it felt like the end of an excruciating wait for the right partner and the right time.

Reflecting on my journey, I realize that my personal longing for a child is why I now work exclusively in fertility. I deeply understand the yearning for a child, the fear it might never happen, and the profound desire to create and nurture a family.

Outside of my work, I’m a hopeless romantic with a love for period dramas!! I often drag my partner and kids to explore every National Trust and English Heritage site we come across.

I love the sea and nature and I often feel deeply moved in their presence.
